My Journey

My passion for human behavior began early, leading to a Bachelor of Science in Human Services Counseling from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and over a decade of experience in social work. As the owner of Mesquite Tile & Flooring, I merged my love for psychology, design, and entrepreneurship, creating a unique niche at the intersection of these fields.

As a Psychology-Based Design Strategist, with a heritage of craftsmanship and a deep appreciation for artistry, I leverage my analytical skills and creativity to innovate within the flooring and design industries.

The Fusion of Artistry and Expertise

As an artist, I draw inspiration from mediums like watercolor and digital design, infusing creativity into every project. My designs blend artistic vision with evidence-based principles, creating spaces that are both functional and emotionally resonant.

My fascination with the natural rules and patterns of science and design allows me to push boundaries—knowing when to follow, bend, or break the rules to achieve the best outcomes. This fusion of artistry, psychology, and practical expertise ensures my projects are distinct and impactful.

Empowering Small Businesses and Everyday Homes

Independent, locally owned businesses as well as everyday homeowners, are brimming with potential. However, many lack access to the resources that larger corporations enjoy. My mission is to level the playing field by providing affordable access to Evidence-Based Design and Environmental Psychology services, helping both businesses and homeowners create spaces that elevate experiences and improve well-being.
